If you are new to yoga or are wishing to improve your yoga expertise, this class is for you. I will introduce you to different types of breath control and explain how breath practices can improve your health. I will explain how methods of yoga can help calm the nervous system and allow you to begin rewiring your brain ever so slightly. We will practice yoga poses or asanas and I will walk you step by step through every movement as well as explaining how to integrate your breath with the movements to achieve the best result for your mind and body. I’ll introduce you to different types of meditation that you can incorporate into your daily lives.
Please have a yoga mat or large towel, two yoga blocks or a stack of books and a yoga strap or belt for the class.
