Yoga is about finding alignment and balance on the mat and in our lives. Each yoga asana has a set of steps which if followed properly will ensure your spine and body are positioned correctly to avoid injury and achieve the most benefit from the pose. In this class we will focus on 1-2 asanas and I will go into the technical aspects of each pose to ensure you practice with correct alignment. We will then integrate the poses into a nice balancing Vinyasa flow. As we practice alignment of the poses, we will also explore how we can bring greater alignment into our lives off the mat.
Please bring yoga blocks or books and a yoga strap or belt to the class.
