Chakra Sunday Yoga

An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Sunday, repeating until 18 July 2021
In this 7-part Sunday series, we will explore asana and pranayama techniques which balance the main 7 chakras or energy points within our bodies. The chakras are believed to correspond to bundles of nerves, major organs, and areas of our energetic body that effect our emotional and physical well being. The seven main chakras are arranged in a column along the spinal cord, from the base of the spine to the top of the head. A blockage in one or more of our chakras can cause us to feel physically or emotionally unwell.
This series of classes is suitable for all levels. Please have a yoga mat, yoga blocks or a stack of books and a yoga strap or belt for the class.
